Whether at work, home, or on the road, we constantly face challenging situations and difficult people. How we handle our emotions at these times can have a major impact on our outcomes.
Our speaker this month, Marsha Freedman, has created a neuro-science based program that she will be sharing with us. Her program is called "The SET Principle: Manage Emotions. Avoid Commotion. Come prepared for an interactive program and a wonderful learning tool that will change the way you handle yourself in the most trying of situations.
Marsha has a master's in Mass Communication from FIU and a bachelor's in education from CUNY. Her company is Express Yourself Communications, where she's "Changing the world, one presentation at a time"
As a professional speaker, trainer, coach, and educator, Marsha originally created The SET Principle to help her clients mange their emotions while delivering speeches. After receiving overwhelming encouragement from her trademark attorney, she developed The SET Principle for the general population, as we all face stressful situations.
Marsha has recently trademarked her newest version of the program for driver safety.
Marsha has lived in Broward County since 1974 and is very active member of The Tower Club, Riverwalk Trust, and the National Speakers Association/ SFL chapter. Her two grown sons and five grandchildren all reside in Broward County as well.
