Annual Holiday Auction and Raffle

The Broward Women’s Alliance Foundation would like to thank you for your past support of our annual holiday fundraising live and silent auction.  Through your generosity, you have recognized the significance of higher education scholarship support that BWA awards each year to assist women moving forward in their chosen career.

If you are considering making a gift item to our fundraising auction  for the first time, we welcome you and are delighted to have you join our efforts.

During the past 10 years, 87 women in the work place have received more than $100,000 in higher education scholarships from BWA.  Approximately 15 percent of those women have received support through to a graduate degree.

The awards are paid directly to the higher education institution from the BWA Foundation and are for tuition only – 100% of the value of your gift is deductible. 

We would be so grateful to you for joining and being a part of our holiday season tradition of offering exceptional auction items to our membership and our guests.  In the past, we have had great success with donations of gift baskets, hotel stays, theater or sporting event tickets and the latest technology tools.

We will be hosting our “in person” live and silent auction this year at the beautiful History Fort Lauderdale campus adjacent to the New River on Monday, December 12^th.  This event is usually a sell-out success year after year.

Non-Members $30.00 (for a limited time)

Pricing increases by $10.00 on all registrations after December 9th.

Metered parking is available in the government center garage or on surface streets 

History

The Broward Women’s Alliance Scholarship was created in 1997 to benefit women who need support to advance their professional goals through achieving a higher education degree.  Over the years, that purpose has not changed., but the status of the BWA has.  In 2019, we became a non-profit foundation.
