The Broward Women’s Alliance Scholarship was created in 1997 to benefit women who need support to advance their professional goals through achieving a higher education degree.  Over the years, that purpose has not changed., but the status of the BWA has. In 2019, we became a registered 501c (3) non-profit in the State of Florida.
